The Impact of Small Victories on Motivation
Today, I stepped in to teach since one of my teachers was out sick. I had been feeling a bit off after some events earlier in the morning. As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, I’ve learned my triggers and can usually get ahead of them, but I was still carrying some of that weight.
While one of my students was giving her presentation, she connected to the Apple TV, and to my surprise, my website was in the background. It was such a powerful reminder. Sometimes, because I’m so passionate about everything I put my heart and effort into, I wonder if it’s making an impact. Seeing that made me feel good, like my work really is reaching people.
So, to everyone who supports and believes in me, from the bottom of my heart—THANK YOU.
Sometimes, it’s the little victories that make the biggest difference. Today was one of those days. Despite feeling a bit off from earlier events, stepping in to teach and seeing my website unexpectedly featured in a student’s presentation was a small win that reminded me of the impact of my work.
Small wins, like these, are powerful reminders that progress is often made in the tiniest of moments. They help us stay motivated and recognize the value of our efforts. So, let’s take a moment to celebrate these small victories and appreciate how they contribute to our larger goals.
Here’s to acknowledging and celebrating those everyday triumphs that keep us moving ahead!
Do you have any recent small wins or happy moments you’d like to share? Celebrating those can be really uplifting!
