Investing in Those Who Invest in You
Today, I want to open my heart and share something deeply personal. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours coaching, mentoring, teaching, encouraging, and listening. I’ve given my time, energy, and expertise freely, not because I had to, but because I genuinely care about seeing others succeed.
I’ve been there for people in ways that sometimes even they didn’t expect—helping them figure things out, build their dreams, and move forward. Yet, I’ve watched those same individuals go elsewhere when it comes time to invest—whether it’s getting a notary, buying life insurance, or paying someone else to help with their business. It stings a little because I’ve been the one holding them down, cheering for them, and pouring into their success.
This is not a complaint—it’s a reflection. It’s also a lesson I often teach my clients, students, and mentees: we must create balance.
I’ve realized that while I’ve been giving freely, I haven’t been asking for reciprocity. But balance is necessary, not just for me, but for all of us. This is why I’m making a change, starting today.
Why Investing Matters
When you invest in someone who has invested in you, you’re not just supporting their growth—you’re supporting your own. The time, effort, and resources I’ve put into helping others are part of an ecosystem of growth. It’s a two-way street. And now, I’m asking for that same energy in return.
I’m not asking for much. Sharing my blog posts, liking my content, and subscribing to my platforms—these are all free ways to support me. Buying my books? That’s an investment in your own growth. When you do that, you’re ensuring that the next time you need guidance or support, the resources are there.
I believe in the power of investing in each other. I believe in creating a circle where we all rise together. And I believe in myself enough to say: it’s time for change.
A New Policy: Respecting My Time
Effective immediately, my free services are coming to an end. If you need to speak with me, you’ll need to book an appointment. A deposit will be required, which will go toward the service you’re receiving.
This isn’t about withholding love or care—it’s about valuing time, expertise, and energy. I’ll always have love for those I’ve helped, and I’ll always believe in the work I do. But this change is necessary for my own growth and sustainability.
A Final Word: Love and Understanding
This decision is not personal—it’s business. It’s rooted in my love for myself and the work I do. Love will help you understand that this isn’t about shutting anyone out—it’s about creating a system that respects both of us.
If you’ve ever benefited from my coaching, mentoring, or teaching, I ask for your support. Read my blogs. Share them with others. Subscribe to my platforms. Buy my books. These small acts are investments in a relationship we’ve built together.
As I take this step forward, I do so with confidence, peace, and love. I believe in me. And I believe in the power of us all rising together.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Let’s keep growing, learning, and building together.
With love,
Jacqueline
