When the Real Ones Get Overlooked: A Business Rant Turned Reminder
I don’t usually do this—but today, I needed to speak on something that hits home for so many of us who are actually building from the ground up.
Lately, I’ve been seeing so many posts, ads, and promotions. I’ve even invested in a few just to see what’s what—and sadly, I got what a lot of people are getting: taken on a ride.
It’s wild how easy it is for folks to spend money on smoke and mirrors, but when it comes to real, legit, hard-working, passion-driven entrepreneurs, they hesitate—or don’t support them at all.
Even more disappointing? Some of the people on my own page, folks who’ve known me for years, seen the consistency, watched the late nights and early mornings, and had direct access to me… they’ll still call for advice but won’t share my post or mention my name when the opportunity comes around.
But let me say this with love and clarity: I expected the non-support.
That’s exactly why things are set up the way they are now. No more freebies. Do you want access? You invest in it. Because I know my value, and I’m not here for claps—I’m here for impact.
