One Thing I Hope People Say About Me
Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.
I hope people say that I was consistent.
Not perfect.
Not flawless.
Not someone who always had the answers.
Consistent.
That I showed up even when I was tired.
That I kept building when it would have been easier to quit.
That I stayed committed to growth, truth, and service even when no one was watching, applauding, or supporting.
I hope they say I was someone who meant what I said and did what I promised, especially when it wasn’t convenient. Someone who didn’t disappear when things got uncomfortable. Someone who didn’t abandon people, purpose, or principles when pressure showed up.
I hope they say I made room for others and for their healing, their learning, their becoming. That I didn’t gatekeep wisdom or hoard opportunities, but shared what I knew and created space for people to rise.
Most of all, I hope they say this:
She didn’t just talk about change—she lived it.
That I evolved in real time.
That I allowed life to shape me without hardening me.
That I turned pain into purpose and experience into guidance.
If that’s what’s remembered, then I know I lived aligned.
