Be prepared to respond when every second matters. MedXpressionz offers practical, hands-on safety and emergency-response classes for healthcare professionals, caregivers, parents, educators, childcare providers, pet owners, businesses, and members of the community.

Classes are available in individual and group formats. Mobile, same-day, evening, and private training may also be available for an additional fee.

CPR Training

CPR means Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. This emergency procedure is used when someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Participants learn how to recognize an emergency, perform high-quality chest compressions, provide rescue breaths, and use an Automated External Defibrillator, commonly called an AED.

CPR training is recommended for parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, childcare providers, security personnel, workplace employees, healthcare workers, and anyone who wants to be prepared to save a life.

BLS Training

BLS means Basic Life Support. This course is designed primarily for healthcare professionals and other individuals who may respond to breathing or cardiac emergencies in a professional setting.

Participants learn high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, team-based emergency response, relief of choking, and other essential life-support skills. BLS may be required for nurses, medical assistants, phlebotomists, dental professionals, caregivers, emergency responders, healthcare students, and clinical employees.

First Aid Training

First Aid training teaches participants how to provide immediate assistance to someone who is injured or suddenly becomes ill while waiting for professional medical help.

Topics may include bleeding control, burns, falls, fractures, allergic reactions, seizures, fainting, poisoning, shock, heat-related illness, and other common emergencies. This course is beneficial for workplaces, schools, families, caregivers, community organizations, and anyone who wants to respond confidently during an emergency.

Heartsaver Training

Heartsaver courses teach essential CPR, AED, and First Aid skills for individuals who have limited or no medical training. Depending on the selected course, participants may learn adult, child, and infant CPR, choking response, AED use, and basic first aid.

Heartsaver training is commonly taken by teachers, childcare providers, fitness professionals, coaches, construction workers, security personnel, workplace teams, and individuals who need certification for employment or personal preparedness.

Wound Care Basics

The Wound Care Basics class introduces participants to the safe and appropriate care of common wounds. Topics may include identifying different types of wounds, infection-prevention practices, basic cleaning and dressing techniques, bleeding control, documentation, and recognizing when professional medical treatment is needed.

This class may benefit caregivers, direct-support professionals, home-care workers, healthcare students, and family members assisting someone with basic care needs. This educational class does not authorize participants to perform procedures outside their professional scope of practice.

Babysitting Safety Classes

Our Babysitting Safety class helps new and experienced babysitters develop the knowledge and confidence needed to care for infants and children safely.

Participants may learn basic childcare, age-appropriate supervision, emergency preparedness, injury prevention, feeding and diapering basics, communication with parents, and how to respond to common emergencies. CPR and First Aid components may be included depending on the selected class.

This course is appropriate for teenagers, young adults, family caregivers, nannies, and anyone preparing to provide babysitting services.

Pet CPR and First Aid

Pet CPR and First Aid training teaches pet owners and animal-care professionals how to respond when a dog or cat experiences an emergency.

Participants may learn how to assess a pet, respond to choking, control bleeding, handle common injuries, recognize signs of distress, and perform basic CPR techniques. This course is ideal for pet owners, pet sitters, dog walkers, groomers, rescue volunteers, boarding staff, and other animal-care professionals.

Pet CPR and First Aid training does not replace care from a licensed veterinarian.

Tourniquet and Bleeding-Control Training

Tourniquet and bleeding-control training teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action until emergency medical services arrive.

Participants learn how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound when appropriate, use a commercial tourniquet correctly, and recognize when a bleeding emergency requires urgent professional assistance.

This class is recommended for schools, workplaces, churches, security teams, community organizations, caregivers, healthcare workers, and anyone who wants to become better prepared for an emergency.

Emergency Oxygen Administration

Emergency Oxygen Administration training teaches participants how supplemental oxygen may be used during certain breathing and cardiac emergencies.

The class may cover oxygen equipment, safety precautions, delivery devices, basic patient assessment, proper administration procedures, and emergency-response considerations. This training may benefit healthcare professionals, caregivers, dental teams, athletic staff, first responders, and individuals whose workplace responsibilities include emergency oxygen.

Participants must follow applicable workplace policies, professional scope-of-practice requirements, and medical direction.
